• The 2024 HMTA show was great. A big crowd of art lovers and buyers this year! The last few years were not so good for us artists (or gallery owners), so it was nice to see everyone happy and excited again. Thank you to all who help support artists. August/2025 - Annual trip west:
Backpacked 45 miles in Yellowstone for the physical challenge, my own sanity and to capture images for my next body of work. The area of Yellowstone we trekked was relatively flat until we reached the Lake Wapiti loops… but beautiful in its own infinite, boiling way. The weather could not have been better, 70-80 degrees by day, 40-50 by night with a few scattered storms thrown in. I was able to capture more than a few amazing cloud and light studies and the scent of wildflowers and sage that piggy-backed off the continuous prairie breeze gave solace to the heat of day. Truly an unforgettable experience.
