2026 History Meets The Arts Event

It was another great show this year at the 2026 “History Meets the Arts” event. A uniquely diverse collection of historical, wildlife and nostalgic art, along with unique handcrafted 18 century weapons and accoutrements. Truly the best wildlife and history related art show east of the Mississippi and I’m looking forward to next year.

September 2026 - Annual trip west:

Just returned from backpacking the Medicine Bow Mountains, CO. I prepared for the trip as I always do and feel like I’m in decent shape (for 65), but we had a surprisingly rough time with the 2000’ elevation gained in a relatively short distance of 7 miles, however, it was well worth the effort. Moved down into Rocky Mountain NP for the last two days of the trip and again, same basic elevation gains… all too beautiful to describe in words so I’m looking forward to capturing our experiences in my next body of work moving into 2027.
