The last few years were not so good for us artists (or gallery owners), so it was nice to see everyone happy and excited again, new faces and old. August/2025: Annual trip west. Backpacking Yellowstone and the Teton’s for inspiration and photos for my next body of work. Yellowstone is relatively flat but beautiful in its own growling, sultry way. The Teton’s, however, are a completely different animal. Tall, voiceless, but no less to be respected. I feel like I have one good year left in me where I can handle the Death Canyon Loop. My heart will let me know inside the first 10 miles. No matter, 10 miles in the Teton’s is better than 5 minutes at a desk… it’ll be wonderful either way.
